“My child, Xavier has been suffering from the above since he was five. The condition worsened as he grew older.
He used to sneeze in the early mornings and in middle of the nights, and this has disturbed his sleep badly. To make matter worse, his eyes would turn red, itchy and teary whenever his allergic conjunctivitis flare up. Sometimes his conditions are so bad that he felt stinging pain in his eyes and his vision blurred as a result. With such severe eye irritation, Xavier was unable to carry out his routine tasks such as schoolwork, test revision and CCAs. It was stressful for him and us.
We had consulted few eye specialists and were told that these problems are hereditary. We were advised that he should outgrow them as he gets older. Usually he would be prescribed with eye drops (both antibiotic and steroid based) and anti-histamine pills to alleviate the problems. The medications worked but not before long, the flare-ups occurred again. Our hearts broke whenever we see him suffer.
One day, I chanced upon BRT Oasis of Hope’s advertisement on the papers and decided to bring Xavier to BRT Oasis of Hope. We have decided to give the therapy a try and signed up for a cycle Of 10 treatments. After 3 to 4 treatments, Xavier’s rhinitis improved! Not only did his sneezing reduced greatly, he also feels better on a general note, and always looks forward to his treatment.
His Therapist is warm, friendly and caring. She always talks and jokes with Xavier, and this makes him feel comfortable. We are impressed by her professionalism and dedication towards her patients. As we begin to see improvement in Xavier’s overall wellbeing, we continued another cycle of treatment. Even though his allergic conjunctivitis still attack him once in a while, the severity of the attack has reduced and it has become bearable for my son, moreover, the attacks would also go away without any medication taken.
Occasionally, we will apply non-steroid eye drops for Xavier and allow him to take anti-histamine. However, he does not need to see a doctor to have antibiotic and steroid- based eye drops anymore. Now, Xavier is a much happier child.
We are heartened to see results in just 3 months, and we believe there will be further improvement in Xavier’s condition with BRT treatments.
